This link is actually to encourages students to approach teachers to start a book club and has a couple if additional links at the bottom of the page. We currently have no teacher/student book club at our school. The teacher who was running the book club last year was a culinary arts teacher and was cut due to budget concerns. Our new librarian has not picked up that torch, as she is involved with other things. Having a book club is something I would like to do with my high school students, and perhaps will in the near future. Currently I am the advisor to the GSA and the school literary magazine, so time is currently a constraint. What a great way, however, to get kids involved with choosing and discussing literature.
